MISCELLANEOUS TECHNICAL NOTES |
SCSI ID selection: SW1 is for SCSI ID selection, 0 through 7. Default setting is 2. To select SCSI ID, turn off the power, press the top button to increase value and the bottom button to decrease value. The new SCSI ID will be registered when the power is turned on then off again. Termination: When terminating the drive, make sure the power is turned off, then plug a passive SCSI-1 terminator block to one of the SCSI-1 ports on the back panel. Host adapter for the RCD 5040 in a PC system is Adaptec AHA-1535. |
