Parity Strap ------------ The S3 on the PCBA is used as a parity strap. When the S3 is shorted with a plug, the input data (DB0 to DB7, DBP) shall be parity checked (odd) by the HDD. When the S3 is open, no parity check shall be executed. The SCSI ID shall be set with the individual straps of SP, S0, S1, and S2 on the PCBA.
